If there was EVER a postal location that needs a 24-hour self service kiosk, it is Lake Havasu City!! I have stood in line so many times for 30 minutes or more when the matter I was there for could have been done by myself at a kiosk. We have never been to a city that doesn't have a well used self service kiosk. What an improvement this would be!!
I live in Sunlake Village. We regularly get our packages delivered to the wrong mail box. The key is in one and the package in another.
Explain to me how come a grown/trained person with this job cannot put both items in the same mail box. I have strangers delivering my packages because it ended up in their box. Complaining to the postal service has done nothing. Eight years of this!!! Today...a key...no package!! I hope whoever got it will be kind enough to deliver it to me!!
i am the relief manager at M & M Storage and i just watched my postal carrier past my box that has the flag up and mail in it to be pick up go right past it very fast and didnt stop why this not the first time this has happened the address is 3360 sweetwater ave lake havasu city Arizona 86406
It has been over three days now that a package has arrived at the LHC Post Office and not ben delivered to our home.My son has kept track of the tracking number so we know where its been.Originally it stated that it would take approximately 6 working days from shipping and that was on April 24th.Monday May 1st was the 6th working day and it was in the LHC post office.Today its Thursday May 4th and by the tracking information it has it "possibly" being delivered today It has a "?" by it.This is ridiculous and unacceptable for LHC Post Office to not get that package to our home no later then the day after it enters the LHC facility
I have always praised the customer service in this office as the best I have ever received anywhere ... until today. I don't know the man's name (tall and slender) that helped me at about 11:00 am, but I have NEVER been treated so rudely anywhere. He was gruff and not helpful.
I waited in line, he said he could help the next person in line, I told him that I wanted to stop the mail at my house because it was going to be a vacation rental, what did I need to do. He said take down the mailbox. I told him I didn't want to do that. He never took the scowl off of his face, he pointed at the other rep and said go ask her. I asked if I could do it on line. He waved me off and told me to go ask her. Sooo I got back in line, spoke with one of the fabulous clerks I normally get and she handled it quickly and with a smile.
If he doesn't want to be helpful, then he should not be at the counter.
We love our residential service providers and the folks at the front desk of the post office and substation are friendly and helpful.
You either need to clarify or need to update your website as the hours posted for pickup services are not the current operating hours.
I guess I should give the postmaster an orchid for only trying to verbally humiliate my wife for 30 seconds in the lobby when she came by to pick up a package (of delicate and expensive medical equipment urgently needed that had been mistakenly mailed USPS instead of as we requested by Fed Ex or UPS by a third party) because it was addressed to our office, when the commercial postman refuses to come because of a dog phobia, rather than our PO Box. If you were't in government service, you would be fired for such unprofessional behavior. Every other PO I've worked with would have just put the box in our PO Box and smiled. It is a friendly small town here otherwise.
Actually, they are some of the friendliest postal workers I've known. Postal employees work under arduous, antiquated work rules. Congress refuses to allow them to make changes that would result in higher efficiency and better service.Thank you to all the LHC PO employees!
