Why is it I received an email USPS attempted to deliver my package on the 13th, when the 13th was Sunday and the Post Office does not open on Sundays?!?

To those who are sending packages to American Samoa from the rest of the United States of America, American Samoa is not within the U.S. Customs area. American Samoa even has its own customs agency. Therefore you need to fill out a customs declaration form and attach it to the package.

I have been waiting so long for this to deliver to a P.o.box to Pago Pago AS it was on Apia WS for over a month only to be sent back to Australia this is something really important for me I don't understand why but reading all the comments it looks like they tried to deliver it but the postal service wasn't open 😩 why this is so wrong

When post office hours are posted, how come they don't follow those hours? Sometimes they don't open until 11, sometimes they close early, sometimes they aren't open at all, and it's not a holiday. Who has oversight on this post office to ensure they follow the posted hours? It takes awhile to drive here only to find the doors locked during business hours and no one answers.

The American Samoa postmaster has full authority to create street addresses to deliver mail for all areas of American Samoa - bringing the island into this century. Seriously, it was the late 1800s when street addresses began to be delivered to. Why is that not done yet? According to USPS organization laws, the post office in all areas of the United States, including American Samoa must be open during posted office hours on a regular basis, no matter how much mail they get. They are not to close on any day before regular posted hours - hand written signs are not allowed. Why is the public not upset that they close Saturdays when they are supposed to be open across the United States and all Territories. Why does the Postmaster close shop when there is a lot of mail that arrives violating the USPS contract with the United States and laws that regulate mail service for the entirety of US and all Territories? Who is responsible for that unprofessional performance and lack of appropriate staffing? Someone needs to discipline the postmaster and supervisor for allowing poor service to continue and lacking the ability to drive innovation to create streets and addresses for better mail delivery.

Talofa, just wanna know if my package has arrive as I receive an email from eBay they said it's already here but I've been coming to the post office there's nothing so I'm concern because it's been a month now since I've placed my order.

Please what is a working number for the post office. We have packages that were sent out on the 10th and still shows that it departs the post office on the same day and that was it. Apparently post office employees in Pago Pago open boxes and steal its content. Please do something about it! I sent my friend a silver necklace with a crucifix and a golden heart in the middle.
