Road at back yard of store Home Depot is in outrage condition. There ditch is full wild grass, that dark image our suburban. Why all services so indifferent to this outrage? Police, newspaper, journalist TV and other every day see this dirty ditch and remain indifferent. There I did put poster about necessity cleaning this ditch, but without result, alas.
Sincerely --- S. Dmitriev , resident of suburban Alabaster
I had 2 Valentines in my mail box to be mailed today . One is gone and the other was put back in my mailbox wet and ruined.
What is the policy on mail being wet and ruined?
I have also had ruined mail delivered to me so wet it was unreadable in the past.
If the rain is so bad I would rather they keep it dry and bring to my porch or deliver the next day.
The Valentine was for a grandson and he will now not get one😡
Consistently poor service. The carrier never closes the box so if it rains my mail gets wet. They have shown items as delivered only for them to show up three of four days later. The last issue was status showed "out for delivery" only for the carrier to later post rescheduled delivery based on MY instruction, which is a lie. Now it shows as I can pickup and they're not going to deliver it.
So, yesterday my package was suppose to be delivered. So, I go to my box because he is there finishing up and I ask? Where is my package? He said, I couldn’t fit them in my truck, but I’ll be coming back at 4:00. Guess what!? He didn’t come. But no biggie. I get it’s that busy time of year. So today, I wait. And wait. And check and check. IT NEVER FRIGGING CAME AGAIN! I finally at 4:38 get a message that my package was HELD BECAUSE OF A FULL LOCKER! I’ve got to work during the hours the post Office window is open. This isn’t right! I’ve paid for a product that was suppose to be delivered THURSDAY! Again, I understand that this time of year is busy, but the postal worker should have made that his first obligation because others in my area didn’t get theirs. Now what I did get what a package my mother in law sent. But of course not the one that was needed.
I have had used the "mail hold" service many times when I lived in another city in Alabama and never had one problem. I have had this done twice since moving to Pelham one year ago with a problem of mail not being delivered on the day I had indicated. I have called the Post Office both times to complain and I don't even get the courtesy of "I'm sorry this happend" , just a curt "your mail will be delivered today" and what sounded like the phone being hung up not so gently by the "supervisor" I talked to. Appartently "customer service" is not one of their goals.
The person who delivers to our neighborhood is about as reliable as a box of rocks. We were waiting on a very important certified letter that never came regarding a law case. We finally got the little slip they put in your box when you aren't home on Saturday, April 22. the date on the slip was April 19!!! we were home on April 19 and no one came to the door. Still don't have the letter as they are closed on Saturday.
I am not receiving my mail and ordered merchandise. We have had this problem for years. We have complained but to no prevail. You have 2 streets in one neighborhood with the same house numbers, something needs to be done.
