I have had 2 packages in a row sent back to the sender, even though the package had my correct address on it and I did not do a change of address/forwarding form. This is ridiculous!

This post office is the absolute worst I have ever seen. The postal carrier will lie simply because they are to lazy to walk something to my door. They will use the excuse of pet interference when I do not even have an outside pet. If ever getting a package from US Postal Service more times than not it never gets delivered. Why does FedX, UPS, and Amazon manage to deliver 100% of the time without a problem??? Then once it's not delivered the office staff are rude or make it difficult to pick up in person. I continually have missing letters/mail as well as getting my neighbors mail in my box. It's as if anything they can do to provide poor customer service they do.

I paid for 2 day delivery. It was out for delivery and the carrier lied and said my office was closed so rescheduled for Monday and it's Saturday. I was here and door was unlocked. Carrier made no attempt to deliver

Last week, I went into the Pelham Post Office, as I often do, to mail a package in the lobby. The drop bin was jammed and inoperable. I had to go into the retail section with the postal workers, and had such an unfortunate experience with one of the workers. I don't have her name, but she was a thin, middle-aged, caucasian women with short, brown hair. The lobby doesn't require masks, but apparently the retails section does. This woman was so unprofessional and rude regarding this issue. I didn't have a mask with me because I was going to use the lobby self-service. Instead of being understanding when I told her I didn't have one, she made a huge scene about it in front of the other 2 workers and my 3 young children. She refused me service, and was completely out of line going off about the mask issue. Quite embarrassing for her and her co-workers, who were helpful in going to the lobby and fixing the drop bin, so I could complete my transaction. This woman has no business being the face of the post office. She is unprofessional, impatient, and should receive disciplinary action. She should NEVER treat a paying customer and tax payer the way she did, especially in front of children.

So sorry you had to go through that. This is the worst post office ever. Can’t believe she reacted like that when I use to go in there and the workers would either not wear a mask or wear them incorrectly including her. I live in Pelham but I go out of my way to Hoover whenever I need to go to the post office.

I had a most unpleasant experience at the Pelham Post Office today, thanks to an employee there named Sue. I was notified by Amazon that the USPS had been unable to deliver my package on 4/18/21. Two days later I tried calling to find out what I should do. There was no answer after multiple attempts so I came in person. I never raised my voice. I never spoke in an angry tone. Sue was verbally quite abusive in response to my questions which included, "What should I do next?" Now as much as ever the USPS needs to be favorably viewed by the general public. Sue is accomplishing the opposite. She should not have contact with the general public. I suspect that you already know this about her.

Why do they even have a phone number listed? By far the worst post office ive ever delt with. Mail delivery isnot consistent and i dropped of packages friday and one has yet to be scanned and mailed out. So i guess its just sitting there in their location somewhere and will probably end up lost. How does that even happen??

Worst mail service in the USA. Routinely receive the wrong mail. WILL NOT DELIVER AMAZON PACKAGES, MUST PICK UP AT POST OFFICE EVERY TIME. Talked with postmaster at Pelham office about this issue Monday, note in mailbox Tuesday to pick up Amazon packages. I don’t order from Amazon to pick up packages. No one cares, rudeness and terrible service is there expectations. Unable to drive on the driveway without running over the grass at least twice each time. Anyone with this type of work ethic would be fired from any other job, but not the post office. Short staff and contract workers is NO excuse for allowing such an inept group of workers to exist. How bad must this get before action is taken.

Road at back yard of store Home Depot is in outrage condition. There ditch is full wild grass, that dark image our suburban. Why all services so indifferent to this outrage? Police, newspaper, journalist TV and other every day see this dirty ditch and remain indifferent. There I did put poster about necessity cleaning this ditch, but without result, alas. I had 2 Valentines in my mail box to be mailed today . One is gone and the other was put back in my mailbox wet and ruined. What is the policy on mail being wet and ruined? I have also had ruined mail delivered to me so wet it was unreadable in the past. If the rain is so bad I would rather they keep it dry and bring to my porch or deliver the next day. The Valentine was for a grandson and he will now not get one😡

Consistently poor service. The carrier never closes the box so if it rains my mail gets wet. They have shown items as delivered only for them to show up three of four days later. The last issue was status showed "out for delivery" only for the carrier to later post rescheduled delivery based on MY instruction, which is a lie. Now it shows as I can pickup and they're not going to deliver it.

So, yesterday my package was suppose to be delivered. So, I go to my box because he is there finishing up and I ask? Where is my package? He said, I couldn’t fit them in my truck, but I’ll be coming back at 4:00. Guess what!? He didn’t come. But no biggie. I get it’s that busy time of year. So today, I wait. And wait. And check and check. IT NEVER FRIGGING CAME AGAIN! I finally at 4:38 get a message that my package was HELD BECAUSE OF A FULL LOCKER! I’ve got to work during the hours the post Office window is open. This isn’t right! I’ve paid for a product that was suppose to be delivered THURSDAY! Again, I understand that this time of year is busy, but the postal worker should have made that his first obligation because others in my area didn’t get theirs. Now what I did get what a package my mother in law sent. But of course not the one that was needed.

I have had used the "mail hold" service many times when I lived in another city in Alabama and never had one problem. I have had this done twice since moving to Pelham one year ago with a problem of mail not being delivered on the day I had indicated. I have called the Post Office both times to complain and I don't even get the courtesy of "I'm sorry this happend" , just a curt "your mail will be delivered today" and what sounded like the phone being hung up not so gently by the "supervisor" I talked to. Appartently "customer service" is not one of their goals.

The person who delivers to our neighborhood is about as reliable as a box of rocks. We were waiting on a very important certified letter that never came regarding a law case. We finally got the little slip they put in your box when you aren't home on Saturday, April 22. the date on the slip was April 19!!! we were home on April 19 and no one came to the door. Still don't have the letter as they are closed on Saturday.

I am not receiving my mail and ordered merchandise. We have had this problem for years. We have complained but to no prevail. You have 2 streets in one neighborhood with the same house numbers, something needs to be done.

The employees at this facility are the most polite, helpful that I have encountered in years. They are the reason I keep returning.
