I lost my mailbox key. How do I get a replacement key?

PLEASE stop leaving packages at the base of the mailbox on the street that do not fit in the mailbox! So easy to steal and the gift delivered that way this week was covered in ants. Please bring them up to the front or back door!! This is new and I've noticed packages left out in the open all over the neighborhood. Thank you for doing your important jobs.

Please answer the phone!! :( I dropped 2 small packages in the outside blue box on Feb 6th. NEITHER have been scanned or delivered. The package drop off box inside is locked or stuck 90% of the time. The self service kiosk is out of service the majority of the time. It does none of us any good to have to stand in line during business hours to drop off packages that are pre-labeled.

Yes to all of the comments here about poorly managed po. Also - why have a self service machine when 1 out of 4 visits it’s not working?? I can understand lack of workers, etc., but a self serve machine? Ridiculous.

A general comment--usps gets a lot of criticism. I have always thought it does an amazingly good job with an overwhelming amount of work. Stay well.

Today is Thursday, and we have not had a mail carrier since Monday. We are a business that has remained open throughout the entire pandemic. We have mail that needs to be picked up.

Today, I had 6 pieces of junk mail in my box. Only problem, none of it had my address on it. Also, one of my neighbors had 3 pieces of mine put in his mailbox. Really bad!

Tried to call, but no answer......a postal package delivery lady accidentally backed over our mail box/post on Saturday 12/15/18. Bless her to come in and tell me....I told her we’d fix thinking it was just putting the box back on the post and recementing the post to the ground, but the post is severed at the base not allowing us to do this. We live at 600 Lake Crest Dr. we have to contract help to fix....just wanted to report this to your office. Please advise, Susan Schmelzle 937-416-5373

They do not answer their phone, even called another PO for an alternate # and they still will not answer. Have had many issues with drivers marking packages as delivered but holding them until the next day, or drivers saying they left notes for certified mail when the did not feel like going up my driveway/stairs.

Yesterday (2/13/18) I was expecting a package delivery. When it was not received, I logged on and found these messages:Birmingham, AL, United States 02/13/2018 5:55 P.M. Post office attempted delivery and left a delivery notice at the location. Contact post office per delivery notice. 02/13/2018 5:40 P.M. Post office attempted delivery and left a delivery notice at the location. Contact post office per delivery notice. There were several problems with these messages: #1 We were home and NO delivery attempt was made #2 NO delivery notice was left #3 NO signature was required and the package was small enough to fit in mailbox. Also had NO mail delivered yesterday.

Avoid going to riverchase post office as there is always a long line. Need to hire more people, frequently only 2 working behind the counter.Needs to be 4 people at all times.Never have this problem when I go to bluff park or vestivia. Poor management of personnel ? If load is heavier at this location then staff it accordingly !

I am really disappointed with the service provided by this post office. At every other US Postal office, the workers are friendly and helpful. At this post office, the workers seems to loathe their job and do not offer any helpful service. I was inquiring about a passport, and the man behind the counter would not offer me any helpful information on other locations and times that would help me. He was very rude, and he acted like I was wasting his time.
