Repeatedly recieving our mail day/days later than expected. Call to post office response is either "It's out for delivery" or "It's not here.." later turns out "We missed it..., located it..., the trucks have Lready left for today's deliveries, it will be delivered tomorrow." Today we found out that the package was on schedule until it was passed from Amazon to USPS. Package due Friday, said to be out for delivery Friday, now again "Out for Delivery" and today's mail already passed, and STILL NO DELIVERY. After 3 years of this I think USPS may have their workers overloaded to the point they can't keep up?
I want to register a complaint...on Monday 2-13-17, my child put in the mail box about 8 letter size envelopes with forever stamps on them to his grandparents, cousins, and nana (all local). Now, in case no one realized it was a valentines with a piece of hard candy in each one. I will say that maybe 2 of them had 2 pieces of candy; however, on Tuesday evening when we went to the mail box, there was all of his valentines with a stamp from the Gardendale Post Office that an additional $2:47 cents was due on EACH ENVELOPE!!!!! I WILL BE REGISTERING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AS ANYONE, BE IT A MANAGER OR WORKER IS HEARTLESS AND DOWN RIGHT IGNORANT FOR PUTTING HIS VALENTINES BACK IN OUT MAILBOX...IF EVIDENCES IS NEEDED, I HAVE THE STAMPS FROM YOU PUT ON THE ENVELOPES AND THE ENVELOPES AS THEY WERE PUT IN THE MAILBOX.
ONLY WILL SAY THE FAVOR WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU!!!
On 12/12/16, I waited for my package to be delivered. At 4:27 that afternoon, the mail lady drove past my apartment and continued to the mail boxes. I did not have the package in my box and no notice was left. I then called the post office the next morning, 12/13/16, between 8:30 am and 8:45 am three times and let the phone ring until I received a busy single each time. Finally, I called a forth time and it was answered promptly. I spoke with the agent and they told me that the carrier thought they saw the package and it would be delivered in my box that day. Now, I must reschedule my appointments to work around this mistake because I am not sure where my package will be.
