The people there are nice and put up with a lot of crap from people. Mark is great as well as the ladies that service the counter. BUT....WHY can't the hamlet of Wallkill have a mail deliverer in the village???? The people who live here have to pick up their mail at the post office...which would be fine if it was just MAIL....but we all know that you can't find anything in the stores right now...so I order quite a bit from Amazon...Kohls etc...The hours are ridiculous!!! They open the counter at 8:30...when I have to leave my house before then...and they close at 5 before I get home. I work on Saturday and they are only open til 12 anyway!! Right now...I have about 10 boxes sitting in the tiny Post Office across the street ..clogging up their shelves! WHY can't they stay OPEN in the lobby for the Christmas Season to hand out packages till at least 6:00!! I'm sure they need the room on their shelves and it would keep the lines from forming all the way out the door early in the morning and people won't have to kill themselves trying to get there before 5 to pick up!

Horrible service to get ahold of. My packages are always missing. Our mail person is always messing up in Forest Park. I’m constantly getting other neighbors mail more than mine. Packages that don’t fit in the mailbox are being left at the mail house for others to see and steal. I know it’s a busy time but a little more focus and care would eliminate a lot of issues.

The mail lady (not the guy) that delivers to Crystal ROAD in wallkill, screws up the mail EVERY TIME she's on duty. Please give her a different job because she clearly is incompetent.

Our mail is constantly been delivered to our neighbor when the address it clearly listed .Also an important tax document was in our mailbox that wasn’t ours.Ended up having to pay a late fee on the credit card charge because it was never delivered to my house. Starting to get really pissed off,Also Package from Amazon is supposed to be delivered the next day and they lie about it and said it was not able to be delivered I will be calling Amazon to report it OK

Where to start? During regular season our mail goes to the wrong address, now, during this busy time, and the hiring of temps, our packages re getting dumped all over Wallkill! 3 TIMES, 3 different people have been honest enough to bring packages to my house. One time a package was left on the side of her garage, another was on someone’s sidewalk in front of his house, the third time, it was left on someone’s porch steps. When I tracked the 2nd one, said it was delivered, I went straight to post office and showed him delivery info, he said, that wasn’t their tracking #, BUT it WAS! It was a SUREPOST! They never answer the phone, or it is constantly busy! When you go to complain they look at you like you’re insane and it’s not their fault....God help us with the WAllkill, NY USPO! It’s an absolute mess and a perfect example of chaos and disorganization!

i recently moved and put my mail on hold because i was expecting a check that it was to late to change the address. so i went on the day it was supposed to be delivered and no check. i have called 100 times every day since and get no answer so I drive an hour up there to find out they dont have it. so they lost it. i go in there there are people all over in there the place is a freaking mess and they cant simply answer their phone. and this is a place that our tax dollars go to. unprofessional. horrible customer service. you all need to loose your jobs and get replaced with someone who cares about their job. answer your freaking phones.

This office is constantly cooking the books....I use “informed delivery” to see when my packages are ready to pick up...I run a small repair business purchasing parts online and I will pay a little more to eliminate shipping thru USPS....I pay a yearly fee to UPS to eliminate “sure post”.......they log the package as “available for pickup “ Way before it really is.........so I venture up there and ....there’s no YELLOW ticket in my box....”the nerve of me” I marched right up to the window and exclaim what I read...I have even showed them what it says on my phone.....the standard line is “we are short handed today “ or “we have Not sorted todays mail yet”.....so ....you are cooking the books for whom ever is monitoring your KBI’s.....they were better with Amazon...until today....4:40 pm no yellow on an Amazon delivery...inside counter had 2 people, main lobby had 3 people waiting.....I go outside to use my phones internet....package ready for pickup....tried to get back inside...GRRRRRR....front door locked......

I subscribe to Vogue. My September issue JUST came on 11/12/19 and the plastic wrapping was marked 8/27/19. The plastic was dusty and it looked like it had been shoved in a corner somewhere. I asked for WEEKS where my magazine was, I called Vogue, they said it had been mailed. I got NO help.My magazines are always late, ripped ,shoved in my box even though I ask to get them at the window
