The phone number listed on this page is incorrect. I use this one to call them: (516) 921-1921. The Hold Mail service at this location is bad. I suggest requesting the hold starting date 2-3 days before your actual travel so you'd have time to call them if they deliver when not supposed to.

No one ever answers the phone at this Post Office. Calling to find out where our company mail is. This is not the first time. No one answers, just rings and then hangs up... ANSWER THE PHONE!

I HAVE SENT A PACKAGE AND TWO SUBSEQUENT LETTERS TO A COMPANY IN SYOSSET, N. Y. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES BY EMAIL AND THEY HAVE STATED THAT THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE PACKAGE NOR THE LETTERS. THE COMPANY HAS REQUESTED AN INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED TO FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEIR MAIL. I AM ALSO CONCERNED THAT MY MAIL IS NOT GETTING THROUGH. WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF THE INVESTIGATION?

These people mess up all the time. My mail comes constantly ripped open and they forget my outgoing mail. They also constantly put my mail into my neighbors mailboxes who knows how much mail I have never received. On top of this there have been numbers times when i have not received a package that were said to be delivered but because there is a new mail person everyday it is impossible to find out which one has taken them and I then have to fight with the company trying to prove that it was in fact not delivered.

Today for the third time since the beginning of April the mailman has stuffed a too large box into my mailbox. The first time the result was the mailbox fell off it's stand and I had to have someone put it back on. That cost me over $200. I filed a claim at the post office and this week I was told that I was given the wrong claim form and received the right one, filed it out and submitted it. I was assured on the phone and when I came into the PO that that would not happen again but it has, twice. It was very difficult getting the box out of the mailbox. I don't understand why the mailman didn't ring my door bell and hand me the package or leave it in the garage as UPS and Fed-Ex do. Any explanation?
