I just have a question. I have a very important delivery coming tomorrow from DHL It says they should deliver right to my house. 105 Dassance RD. In the past they dropped my package to the NF Post office. Not sure how this all works. I'm hoping they will bring it to my house. If not can you give me a call?? 607-592-1174

I have lived at my present address going on 4 years,I still get mail for the residents that use to live here,I've gone to the po and ask to have only my family's mail only and gave the po the names of the prior residents, well almost 4 years later I'm still getting the prior residents mail and even write on the mail " not at the address ". A day or so later I get the same prior residents mail again 🙁🙁🙁🙁😡😡😡😡

I have had the same problem with trying to get through to someone at the Newfield Post Office, via phone. I also have had a problem with our mailman for months with no recourse. This man has held my mail for days, opened my mail, and today he threw it in the gutter instead of placing it in my mailbox! There has to be something we can do about shutting this Office down!!

Its currently 10:30am. I've been calling since 8:24am and its been the slow busy signal the whole time. I asked them to hold my package so I could pick up from the post office instead of getting the slip in my mail bbox and being told the package is out for delivery on the truck. I was assured they would hold my package for pick up. Instead, I just got the text alert that they were going to attempt delivery. So frustrating!

service here is a joke. the borderline morbidly obese gentleman that
works in this office, feels free to spew obscenities and insults at
will. I guess if it's not his way he has the right to belittle me in
public and make boarder line threats. I will be recording all
conversations from this point as this man has less people skills then
hygiene. his hygiene is down right offensive

Something has to be done about the service (or no service) at the Newfield NY post office. They are rude, liars, and impossible to deal with. This year the town clerks office mailed the residents tax bills on Dec. 31, 2014. It is now January 21, 2015. 21 days and still no bill. I have my mail forwarded some of the winter months and in 13 years I have had no problem. They can't be reached by phone, they are either taking the phone off the hook or putting it on hold. What are the residents supposed to do when they are being treated like this? I have discussed these problems with residents and business and they all say the same thing. I had a huge problem with them about 3 years ago. When I questioned why I wasn't getting my mail they denied saving it. This took 3 mailings from 4 different insurance companies and were time sensitive. When I picked up mail in the spring there were packages being held that they had for some time. I wrote to the regional manager with copies of postmarks and delivery dates on several items, all proof over a period of time with what was happening in Newfield. I received no response from the manager. This year I also received a tax notice from out of state. This was late, the tax office explained the Newfield PO sent it back to them saying I was temporarily away. This should have been forwarded to me by the Newfield PO. I had to pay a penalty regardless of the reason and I am absolutely livid. Mr. Beach has been the post master that I and so many others have dealt with. When will something be done to clean up our PO?

I hate to rain on the parade of the five (out of HOW many thousands of Newfielders?) angry and occasionally obnoxious people who wrote some less-than-civilized remarks about the folks who work at the Newfield USPS, but I must. I have lived in Newfield for over 20 years and have been pretty happy with the people working there. Are they perfect? Of course not...things can screw up anywhere and everywhere you care to look. In my every visit, the folks there have always tried to be helpful, and I thank them for that. I suggest to the "angry five" who seem to demand perfection from others start off every day with a look in their mirror. When you have reached perfection, write again and let me know how you did it. I fervently hope that "Chris", who is downright nasty, go back to school for some basic lessons in correct English...spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. I regularly need to mail some heavy and bulky packages. Everyone there goes out of his/her way to be very helpful I thank them.
