I mailed a small package yesterday, and had a very rude clerk. The package came with $50 of insurance, and I asked how much additional insurance would be. She said $3. I asked how much insurance was included in that, and it set her off. She said $3 again. I asked what the range of insurance and charges would be. She leaned over the counter and said I. JUST. TOLD. YOU. She then said it was for $100. I still don't know if that is plus or inclusive of the $50 it originally came with. She was rude from the time I stepped up to the window and then to lean over and talk loudly and slowly as if I was not capable of understanding her was not called for. I told her the next time I ever use this post office, I will look at all their rates online and even bring exact change. I cannot believe someone at the post office would behave this way. She definitely did not leave a good impression of Nixa.

I worked for the Post Office for 35 years partially in California and the last 20 was in Springfield. Nixa post office is very well run and always a pleasant experience at the counter

Some employees at this location do not do their jobs, they supposed to knock at the door to deliver items but they don't, they leave packages in the news paper square(not supposed to) and or put a note of we missed you in the mail box without even checking at the door, complaint several times but they keep doing the same thing, just not acceptable, a service you pay for that you will not get a lot of times. apparently many complaints from people, please post.

I just got a notice from a company whose package I was waiting on that it has been sitting in the Nixa Post Office for the last month. Granted, the company didn't provide me a tracking number until just now, but looking at it, it says that it was attempted to be delivered on May 18th (it is now June 20th), and that a notice was left. There was definitely no notice left or I would have gone to pick it up already. Fail.

Hi, I just read your review and I had problems like this before, I was wondering if you have try this link( posted) to put an email complaint on line then they will contact you, I figure that if this keeps happening we can collect signatures or something to report this issues with a regional manager or something, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one reporting this. thank you for your review - juniormmix@hotmail. https://www.usps.com/help/contact-us.htm

Pathetic excuse for a post office. It would give me great pleasure to see this closed and they all lose their jobs. If you order anything online particularly Amazon, they will not deliver it on time. You have to call (which is a chore in itself) and usually have to go pick it, which the hours suck. Our daily mail NEVER arrives around the same time. Usually anywhere between noon and 5:30. Also, our mail driver does 40mph in a 25 with kids playing all over the place.
