Postal Locations

We are trying to get our mail. We forwarded our address 2 weeks ago. Today we had a package that they would not deliver due to the address. We called the Cross Lake post office and told them and they said have to physically go there. We went to our current post office and they said “yes we have your information and we are forwarding your mail. “ Our post office in Long Prairie suggested we talk with the post mastor. We called and they told us to hold. That was 1 hr ago. Now the line is busy. What the heck! No wonder people don’t want to send mail!!!!!!

Today (7-14-2020) about 2:00 PM I stopped in to exchange a booklet of First Class stamps that went for a swim with me yesterday. The sticky back adhered to the paper carrier of the booklet and the stamp(s) would not stick to an envelope. I expected an exchange but was told by the woman clerk that I was "out of luck, sorry about that." This is contrary to my experience a few times in the past with postage that became damaged in my possession. I'll get them replaced at my hometown Post Office. Please refer her to the USPS section that deals with this issue.
