Postal Locations

Since we moved to the Chatfield, MN post office area 3 and a half years ago, we have had more problems with the postal service than the twenty years of living in the Spring Valley, MN postal service area. It used to take mail two to four days to get from any location in SE MN to us in Spring Valley. It now takes 5 days to not quite two weeks for the Chatfield Postal Service to do the same job. We have had twenty pieces of lost mail, 17 damaged or destroyed packages and four ripped up letters returned to us in a bag. Now they refuse to deliver our mail to our home because we have animals in the yard. A puppy, three cats and fourteen free range chickens. A sorry excuse for a postal system in Chatfield, MN. They say we have to drive into town to pick up our mail from now on. The persons who are in charge of the efficiency and security of mail at Chatfield should be demoted or transferred to another facility where they can't give good postal employees a bad rapport. A more extreme option is if the persons in charge are found to be really poor at their job then they probably should find another job (not in the postal service).
