My PO Box rent was due by June 30. I went into the PO to get my mail & pay the bill on July 3 and found the key to the box wouldn't work. They were open so the guy goes back & tells me my box was locked due to non payment. He gives me my mail & the renewal letter was in there & very clearly states "IF YOUR PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE 10TH OF THE MONTH".... Remember I'm there on the 3rd. Very poor customer service.

My mail person has stated that they delivered our package to the person who was required to sign for it and to the correct address- per the tracking app. The package was a cell phone and wasn’t delivered to either of those. It is fraudulent behavior to misrepresent either of those two things in regards to cellular services. We have lived at this address for 22 years there is absolutely no excuse for not delivering the mail or packages to our home. We were home the entire time.

Is there any help getting tax returns postmarked for those a few minutes late? There is no mention of this on the Mountain Home site. Hmmmmm...Is it the new norm for Federal Agencies to be hostile/abrasive to the citizen? Or is this some hold-over from the last administration?

Called to voice concern over them placing rubber band around box when I'm out of town. He asked why I was concerned. I told him that everyone in town would know I wadntyhone. He answered, "Does everyone in town stop at your mailbox?" Rude and unprofessional...not appreciated.
