I live in central Illinois. i have been trying to reach the Maynard, Ark post office since approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning. As of 12:10 this afternoon, i have CONSTANTLY dialing and redialing the phone number there. That equates to calling about every 5 seconds (i use redial). Guess what, it is now 2:20 pm. The office closes at 3:00 pm. i still can not reach the office. I get a busy signal all of the time. To me there is several reasons for that: #1 severe weather conditions #2 that office is UNREASONABLY UNDER STAFFED. My last idea is that the employee(s) have taken the phone off of the hook as to not be bothered. What do you think????? I hope nothing has happened at the office. If i did not live close to Chicago, il i would make a trip just to check on the conditions. Please contact me, i would appreciate that. Thank You. Nancy
