My name is Jenifer Welch/Glenn and I just moved to the Malvern area. I have had nothing but problems from this post office since I moved here. When I moved my residence did not have a mail box and I didn't have much money. I went and bought the cheapest box I could find which was a porch box because I have very important mail that I need. I noticed from day one that the mailman continued to speed by my house but dropped mail off tl every other residence in my neighborhood. I went to the post office a couple weeks ago and I was told that I needed a curbside mailbox. I got back home and noticed just about everyone on my block has porch mailboxes but they still get their mail but I can't get mine. I went back to the post office and the manager told me he will put my mail on hold for 30 days in which I asked why no one else had to put theirs on hold if they are all going to curbside. He tells me because they have been living there and you are new to the neighborhood. I honestly dont believe that's right. If one residence is made to do it then why aren't the other ones. I just called there today to see if I had any mail because I take care of my grandma and can't leave her home for long periods of time. Didn't want t ok waste a trip if j didn't have to. The lady that answered the phone was very rude. She caught an attitude and just put me on hold before I could even explain to her why my mail bbn is on hold and why I can't just come up there like that. She gets back on the phone and told me that she could not go look t ol see if I had any mail on hold because it's just too many people who now has their mail on hold. I then told her I will come check then. I went up there and had no mail. Made a wasted trip lo leaving my grandma at home by herself when someone could have had a heart and checked for me. Now I have to stand outside everyday and wait on the mailman to bring me mail when he can put it in my porch box until I can get the curbside box put up. I have one I just have to have someone help me get it up. Im usually not one to complain but this is getting to me when I need my mail. You never know what a person is going through and times have been hard. It will be nice to have people who have a little heart.
